About the Author:

Dr. Chiquito Crasto is a Research Associate Professor who specializes in several disciplines: Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Neuroscience, Chemical Senses and Physical Chemistry.  Dr. Crasto was born in Goa, India.  A National Merit Scholar, he graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India with an MS in Chemistry and a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of New Orleans, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.  He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Fox Chase Cancer Center where he was awarded the Plain and Fancy Postdoctoral Fellowship and a Research Associate Scientist at the Yale University School of Medicine.  At Texas Tech University, Dr. Crasto was a TTU President Faculty Leader Fellow.  In his spare time, Dr. Crasto makes professional audiobooks, having completed more than 150 projects.
