About the author: Eric J. Schmieder has been teaching computer technology courses throughout the NC Community College System since 2001. Having designed websites since 1998, Eric has taught web development courses in the NC State University Technology Training Solutions' webmaster certificate program since 2013. About the book: 

The book is uniquely designed to provide students foundational experience with a variety of technologies used in the web application development process ­– as discrete topics, but connected through a start-to-finish experience of designing and developing a web application in a case study approach.
