About the Author:
Susan Hughey-Rasler, MEd, PhD (University of Washington; Seattle, WA), professor emeritus of psychology at Greenville University in Greenville, IL, currently teaches online. Her focus has been to develop rural behavioral health services in her community while offering excellence in undergraduate education in psychology at Greenville University. In the past ten years, she has lectured internationally on trauma recovery based upon her research and development of autobiographical reintegration (ARI). The cover picture was taken in the window seat on the staircase at Jubilee House Outreach, where she works clinically and provides supervision. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, a member of the Society for Health Psychology, and an Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
