John G. Marcis, PhD is Professor of Economics at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, where he has been teaching since 1999. John earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and his Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Missouri-Columbia. His current research interests focus on the intersection of Economics and Psychology as well as the study of the Economics of Energy Markets. John has taught various workshops and classes in Economic Education. He resides in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
