WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT CONDUCTING ENRICHMENT

“Kyle Glaser and Brett Richardson have designed an invaluable tool for university conducting professors. The inventive progression of difficulty challenges students to develop skills not addressed in other textbooks, such as eye contact and cueing with either hand. These drills are adaptable to any curricular approach, freeing instructors to teach concepts as they see fit. I look forward to integrating it into my courses!”

– Chad Nicholson, Director of Bands; the University of Arizona

“Glaser and Richardson have put together a practical and insightful workbook that will be an invaluable resource for undergraduate and graduate conducting courses. Conducting Enrichment will be a welcome addition to my teaching materials!"

– Paul Popiel, Director of Bands; the University of Kansas

Conducting Enrichment – Daily Exercises for the Conducting Curriculum is a book that is extremely valuable for the development of conducting skills in students learning to conduct in the classroom setting. The comprehensive groups of exercises help students focus on one skill at a time and, as the exercises become more difficult sequentially, are useful to help assure mastery of physical technique before moving into repertoire. I believe this publication is important to be used as a supplement in a quality conducting curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate levels.”

– Stephen Pratt, Professor of Music Emeritus; Indiana University

“Focused, sequential, and specific in its targeting of conducting skills, Conducting Enrichment will prove to be an invaluable resource for any beginning conducting course.”

– Andrew Yozviak, Director of Bands; West Chester University
