Author Bios:
Tom Behan has a finance background: he has been a bank president, CEO of a multibillion-dollar company, and a lifelong entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of the Alaska Clubs and past president of the International Health and Racquet Sports Association (IHRSA). He’s been a pioneer, leader, and presently an investor in the health club industry. He is a partner in the Planet Fitness Clubs in Houston, Texas. His education includes a BBA from the University of Texas at El Paso and an MBA from the Pacific Banking School at the University of Washington. He is a certified speaker, coach, and trainer with the John Maxwell Group.
Tom Puffer is a former “Big 4” partner (KPMG) and a former CEO of a management consulting firm. He is currently a professor at the McCoy College of Business, Texas State University. Tom has over 40 years of varied business experience. He has served organizations in energy, manufacturing, banking, retail, higher education, and government. Tom has been published in 3 academic journals and in 3 business periodicals. He is a CPA and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He has a MS degree in accounting from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a BBA degree in economics from the University of Texas at El Paso.
